survivor rebuttal
survivor rebuttalim goin to make a rebuttal as a post instead of it being in the comments section against the post below. Yes i do agree with u that the producer try to make it as dramatic as possible in order to get viwership and create survivor suckers like me. i think survivor is one of the first reality series that already is closest to being 'reality'. usually the mixes of people within the group is also being manipulated by the producer. I mean.. it's a million dollar show, the producer needs to come up with new and interesting ideas in order to maintain its viewership. and that explains the great bods. besides the obstacles and challenges are somewhat innovative, dun u tink? I mean those people who came up with challenges like that are geniuses - something we can learn from them ehy? Who knows one day we might need to come up with some innovative challenge or what-so-ever?
and yes, the credibility of the show is up to a certain level, but aren't all, if not most reality shows like that? The amazing race is pretty 'real' as well, if u wanna talk abt it? for me, i dun exactly watch the 'content' of the show. I like to watch how people react when they're put under extremes. And for survivor, if it is as real as it seems, i tink living outdoors with just primitive instruments on a deserted island is not easy. And through watching survivor, i gain alot of outdoor knowledge as well. Like, starting a fire? this reminds me abt the show again, if u cant even start a freakin fire, why bother coming?! actually, i dun understand how people CANNOT start a fire. well, as least when ure given a flint and u still arent able to start? thats just embarassing man.
as u might not have noticed, huiwen is already gettin uptight and aggressive in bitching abt the survivors as me.. as i say, the show gets u thinking and bitching. it shows how stupid people can get in obvious 'common-sense' situations. It shows u how people can turn their words around, and how strong or noob some people are. It's just fun to watch them all gettin owned or owned other people. And also it will be wicked to see how the weakest survives in the game, cos up till now, it has never happen before.
however, i would just like to add that this is a very very good idea - to watch survivor at the same time and bitch about it later on. And then get on with ur work, until uve worked for like 2 solid hours, and then watch and then bitch again. It just makes the day pass faster with u gettin a substantial amount of work done. gotta love technology..

well my point was that, it is precisely the reaction of pple under extreme pressure in this show dat i dun find realistic. thats y i said they might just be good actors/actresses.. haha... im a cynic la.
n i think dat way of almost alllll reality tv man.. not jus survivor.. of cos, there's not as much bs in survivor than like, ......cant think of any right now, i hardly watch em'. ahh yes, bachelor. haha. would u really wanna marry a guy who got down n dirty with other women that u know personally?? -_-
n i wonder what the contestants do when the cam aint on them.
yeah having said that, im still looking forward to my next survivor session... =D
