Back In Malaysia

Arrived at the airport. Knew that parents wont be happy, cos they saw my luggage (CPU and LCD monitor). I know..it's crazy. I even brought back the LCD. Whatever it is, it was good to touch down. Didnt have a nice flight (British Airways), fat person sittin beside me, and there were a couple of kids behind. It was terrible. Baby didnt looked shocked when she saw me. It was an overwhelmin day for her as well. She got her laptop, even though it was under loan, it's still gd that she finally have her own laptop. Easier for her in Uni also. After i came out of the airport, as usual, it was hot. Went to Newton Circus to have supper. They were renovatin the place. Didnt have the 'Newton Circus' feelin. Ate hokkien mee, bbq sting ray, sambal sotong..all local food. felt damn good, cos once i touched down got local food to eat.

The next day, i had to fetch my baby to the custom. poor thing. got meetin on a sat! and somemore it was in the mornin. Bought char siew pao for her breakfast. Ate it in the car. After i came home, it was a busy day. Went for breakfast wit my parents at New Hong Kong. Ate dim sum. after that, we went to visit my relatives. And i tink we were talkin abt food..and i suggested that my steak was good. So..my mum suggested to them to have dinner at our place. and im responsible for cookin steak. So went to the wet market to buy steak from a malay stall. looks fresh. They even said they rear the cows themselves. Once i reached home, prepared food all the way. I was planning to make a potato salad, steak with mushroom and black pepper sauce and some broccoli and carrot at the side. Cooked abt 10 pieces of steak. Some were just nice, some were overcooked/undercooked. But overall, it was ok. Side dish - potato salad was the hot favourite. Everyone wanted more potato salad, and it was meant to be a side. Too bad my baby had to go to sch, or else she would have the chance to try my steak. I'll cook it again when u come, so dun worry..wit nice potato salad as well.

glad you had a good touch down. have a nice holiday man. just wondering, can you speak malay on a conversational level? i can't believe i don't know the answer to this...but yeah. i don't think it came up. i remember you saying you can't speak it very well, but you were probably just being modest.

no dude. i can't speak malay on a conversational level. UNLESS the other party knows abit of English. Then i will be able to converse in a mixture of English and Malay.
