Kissing Is Healthy?

Sure, everyone loves a good smooch or two. But, did you know that kissing can actually be good for your health?

One survey has recently found that kissing is, in fact, good for you. And, women seem to prefer kissing to having sex.The study conducted of more than 500 men and women between the ages of 16 and 91, most of the men stated that they felt kissing to be "more of a duty and obligation."

However, 56 percent of the women surveyed said that they "enjoyed kissing and willingly kissed," while an astounding 60 percent actually said that they felt kissing to be better than having sex!

Another aspect revealed in the survey are kissing's health benefits. It was found that a long kiss can help to lower your blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Valentine Myths Debunked
There have been some common misconceptions about Valentine's Day.

First things first, it's not ok to skip Valentine's Day. Even if you both feel it's too commercialized, it is probably still very important to her. Just keep the day low key and do whatever it is you want without having to participate in the norm. Spending time together will mean a lot to her.

Valentine's Day doesn't have to be celebrated on February 14th. Plan a day when you both want to go out. Restaurants will be less crowded, flowers will be less expensive, and doing your own thing will be something special that only the two of you share.

Lingerie is not considered a good Valentine's gift, at least not on it's own. Every woman knows that it's really more for you than for her, so if you plan to buy her something sexy to wear, make sure you also give her something personal that's just for her.

Regardless of the length of your relationship, or the stage you are in, you should still celebrate Valentine's Day. Even if the "L" word hasn't yet been said, you can plan a non-romantic activity such as a concert or comedy show.

Lastly, a woman really doesn't care about the amount of money spent on her gift. It's all about the meaning behind the gift. Really, it's true.
