random stuff...

i hate walking under trees. get the creeps. im afraid of those cocoons or caterpillers hanging on silk thread that might end up on my neck.

it happened to me twice along the same stretch of road. n i squashed one of them while trying to remove it, thinking it was a leaf on my neck. eeew...

was walking to the bus stop today when i past by a house n saw this cute lil jack russell puppy tied to the gate on a leash. i felt so tempted to pick it up n run away... dun like to see animals being tied up. its bad enough u leave them outside in the rain or sun... to tie them up is worst. oh well. im not that fantastic a dog owner myself. ex dog owner..

before i went to give tuition, i met up with sher for lunch at ajisen. there was a really value for money (at least we think so) set lunch where the noodles cost 10 bucks while u can order a side for either 10cents or 90cents. ok so maybe the cost is incorporated into the noodles la, but the sides cost quite abit on their own. greedy me said we shud order one bowl each...tho sher tot we shud share. den the greedy US wanted to order more sides after we each ordered a 10/90cents side (that makes 2 sides tog). ahhhhh the noodles killed us la... even thought that we could have takopachi after but we were stuffed. gee i think i cant control myself when it comes to food. eat n eat n eat......... n eat....

Bling Education

I wasn't supposed to do this.. but fuck assignments.. 2 major assignments plus 1 fuckin presentation due this coming tuesday. Not that it's hard to do or whatever, i fuckin hate presentations.. Gotta present on Toy "R" Us.. i gotta say we the slides some of my groupmates did were pretty impressive. Just hope they deliver it professionally..

I was doing work and i messed up.. i re-read a big part i already did.. and realised it deviates from the main topic too much.. i deleted the whole chunk and had to re-do it.. damn it.. took a break.. as i was too pissed off to continue. Read this article from my school magazine.. it's an 'educational' piece of crap on "Bling"..

At the same time, i could test out the pro-ness of my camera.. apparently, i took a picture of the article and its read-able from computer.. i hope u guys can read this too!

we found the man! he's at this new club at central mall... called cube. its no where as nice as chinablack in terms of interior... cos cb has this 'underground' effect whereas cube is.. more open. but the music is the same! one track flows smoothly to the next, u can feel he pimped each one up nicely so u wont get sick of listening to the whole song, n all the songs r gd! hope u r excited abt coming back... well i know u arent that keen but this time its a chance to relive our best times clubbing... too bad cb died...

zzz time to try n slp. skool starts next mon n its a bloody 830 lesson. need to get back normal slp cycle. but what normal ah? ... ...

If you really care about someone, do not tell her to fuck off

The weather was worsening outside. Her windshield was covered in a half inch of ice - the de-icer she had bought previously in the day was not working as well as she had hoped. Driving home at midnight from work would be an ordeal, to say the least, but she had driven on ice before, even this Texas girl could take care of herself.



She returned to work after scraping the windshield and verifying that the car would start. She sat down at the computer and saw an Instant Message on the screen, from the person that had given her the most happiness and the most pain of her life:



It is getting worse outside, you come home now.



She messaged him back, telling him that she had to be here, because she was the only supervisor around for the particular group and it was not fair to everyone else if she left early. His consideration for her safety slowly gave way to anger, making idle threats against the company if they did not close their doors due to the weather, and then attacking her character.



Fuck the others! Who cares about the others?



I care.





Well, fuck you too.



Perhaps he really cared. That he was really thinking about her safety. But more likely than not, it was the first time she had ever said NO to something that he had told her to do. And she felt justified in it and somewhat proud. If she made a bad decision then it was totally hers, not because she was doing something that was commanded of her. But she knew what she was doing. She had driven on ice before.



What did all this mean?



One more battle in the power struggle.

One more fight to lose.

One more night without sleep.

One more day closer to eradication.

im sure anyone who watched dirty dancing 2 would agree with me that claudette ortiz duet with wyclef sounds so much better! its so much more sensual with the spanish feel to it. uhhhh. like it has a dirtier, raw feel to it. like straight from the streets. k i suck at describing it but yeah, i think its way better. geez im so long winded. its a pity not many pple have heard it.. so most of them think that the highly publicised 'hips don't lie' is better. oh puhlease, i think her voice dont suit it at all. bahs.. n its damn irritating cos it gets stuck in my head when i hear it. darn. phui.

Hardcore Foodies

Me, Ron, and Huiwen came out with this idea during the year end holidays.. travel around to try all the "Top 10 lisiting" / "Best Hokkien Mee" / "Best Chicken Rice" / "Best (anything)..

Though i tink taste is a personal thing, but there must be some general consensus as to which one taste the best.. Huiwen found a Makansutra website, whereby they have a top 10 listing of the best foods in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Though i have to disagree with some of the them..

I really miss the Penang Char Kway Teow i had on my first visit to Penang. It was the smallest and most expensive plate of Kway Teow i had (considering Malaysia standards). I had about 4 to 5 plates! I hope the Hiong Hiong place in Penang is the Kway Teow im looking for.

So im really looking forward to the day when we all set out on the food journey and come back with our own Top 10..

Anyone interested?
